List of Mobile Codes


            In many countries, mobile phones are assigned dedicated mobile phone codes within the country's telephone numbering plan.

            Indian Mobile numbers have 10 digits with +91-AB-YXX-OOOOO format where +91 Country Code (India), AB - the access code, XYZ - MSC Code and OOOOO is the subscriber number. First five digits are allotted time to time to all mobile operators. Generally a set of 10 MSC codes (Mobile Switch Code) are allotted to a mobile operator hence first four digits of the mobile number become sufficient to identify the mobile operator and circle. Sometime first 5 and last 5 MSC codes are allotted to different circles.  The maximum and minimum digits length including country code will be 12 digits.

            The routing of mobile service call is to be decided based on first digit of the Mobile Switch Code (MSC) as follows:
